1. A Rose in the Ashes

   This absolutely stunning Brazilian granite now has pride of place in this beautiful kitchen in Plymouth.   Mr and Mrs M were over the moon with their new kitchen and Andromeda granite was the icing on the cake for them as you can see by their comment:

   “Hi Michaela

   Pictures as promised

   Wow! is all I can really say.  We can’t thank you enough.  Your support and finding the Andromeda granite for us.  The fitters for their friendly and professional manner.  You all made the whole experience a pleasure.

   Many thanks”

   It was a true pleasure to deal with these lovely people and to help them find the granite that really made their kitchen special.  Andromeda has clouds of dove grey on a snowy white background with vibrant splashes of plummy rose colours.  As you can see from the photo it really does have the Wow! factor.  Come on Mr M… just got to get that cooker hood up now!!

3. Colonial White Granite – just arrived!

   If you’re looking for a light coloured granite for your new worktops then this could be just the granite for you.  Colonial White, this is a very pretty granite with white, grey and purple tones.  An excellent alternative to Kashmir White granite which is currently unavailable.

   Colonial White granite looks stunning on real wood units but for a bold contemporary feel why not team it up with aubergine or plum units or even high gloss anthracite or dove grey!  As always you are very welcome to come and see our materials which are on show in our works.  We’ ll help you make the perfect choice for your dream kitchen.

4. A Dedicated Follower of Fashion

   Tropical fashion Granite worktop

   Mr and Mrs R wanted something really different for their kitchen worktops.  They visited one of our suppliers and fell in love with Tropical fashion granite.  With it’s swirls of quartz in shades of green with a touch of pink added for warmth it truly is a special stone.  Mr and Mrs R are really pleased with the finished result.  Well done to them for finding such a gem!

5. Baltic Beauty

   Mr and Mrs P from Plymouth recently had their Baltic Brown granite worktops fitted and are thrilled with their kitchen as their feedback suggests;

   Baltic Brown an unusual granite quarried in Finland lends itself to any style of kitchen but goes particularly well with our clients traditional style cream units where it looks really striking.   Just one of many colours to consider when choosing the perfect granite for your home.

6. Sweet Caramello

   Some clients are so pleased with their kitchen worktops that they decide to use granite elsewhere in their homes and Mrs S of Plymouth is no exception.  Her very clever husband built this unusual vanity unit for their bathroom.  They chose Caramello granite for the vanity top, the beautiful browns, greys and creams in this stone complemented their choice of fitments and furnishings well.

    

   The vanity top was made in one piece with an ogee profile on the edge.  The whole top was then fitted over wooden posts and after it was in situ the very clever husband fitted a double mirror.  The unit can now be used from both sides and makes a wonderful centrepiece to the bathroom.  A wonderful way to utilise extra space in a room!

   It’s so pleasing to be able to help get exactly the right colour for our clients and Mrs S of Plymouth was really thrilled with this lovely Kashmir White granite that is now gracing her beautiful kitchen units.  The feedback says it all;

8. Fancy that!

   There are many profiles to choose from when you order your stone worktops, here is just one example.  This fancy edge is achieved using two pieces of 30mm stone and putting a half bullnose profile on the bottom piece with an ogee profile on the top.  Together they create a truly beautiful edge which would grace any kitchen.

   Why not have an island with this choice of profile as a centrepiece for your dream kitchen.

   This display was created as a showpiece for Wadebridge Kitchens in Polmorla Road, Wadebridge.  Doesn’t it look stunning with the beautiful cabinets they chose for it?

   Leathered Cosmic Black Granite

   In our previous blog posting we showed you leathered Black granite. We now have pleasure in introducing you to leathered Cosmic Black. For a truly black and white theme to your kitchen this textured granite is a lovely choice. Leathered Cosmic Black is currently on show in our yard which of course, you are very welcome to visit.

10. Recently completed

    We recently completed this lovely black granite worktop for a client in Edinburgh. The granite used was Indian Black with a leathered (textured) finish. All granite can be worked to produce different textures to suit the setting it is intended for. The matt appearance of this granite really showed off the wonderful cabinetry made by ChristianPaul bespoke designs who are based in Cornwall.
